Jenny Logico-Cruz is a performer, writer, theatre director, and teacher. Her performances and directing pieces have been featured in major cities around the world including Manila, New York City, Honolulu, San Francisco, and London. She has also worked for notable arts organizations and cultural institutions such as The Cultural Center of the Philippines, St. Scholastica’s College of Music, The National Asian American Theater Company, Theater Mitu, The Actors’ Group, Nicu’s Spoon Theater, The New York International Fringe Festival, and recently, The V&A Museum- Theatre and Performance Department. She is also the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Langgam Performance Troupe, a Manila-based contemporary performance company and research lab.
Jenny is interested in pushing the boundaries of performance practice by utilizing it as a tool for critical social research. She holds a BA in Literature at De La Salle University, Manila, Philippines, and a Master's degree in London’s Theatre and Performance (Viewing, Making, Writing) at the University of Roehampton where she was awarded a Distinction for her practice-as-research dissertation, More is More (or Less).
